Conditioning a crawlspace involves polyethylene sheathing used in conjunction with a ccSPF insulated perimeter to safeguard mechanicals, foundation, and indoor air quality. Sealed off from both outside air and soil vapors, the house's own HVAC system can easily regulate air flow within the space, creating an even and homogenous environment nearly identical to the living areas.
An ultra-grade insulator that doubles as a water and vapor barrier while also adding structural strength; ccSPF is predominantly used as an exterior envelope insulator in construction and industrial application. It performs particularly well on sheet metal or block wall structures.
